A fantastic fantasy series!
George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Fire and Ice" series is extraordinary. Very wide scope with a lot of primary characters, each of which is unique and likeable in their own way.
This is the first book in the series, and I promise you that, if you even vaguely like fantasy novels, you won't be able to stop reading!
